Gladys, 99, of Taylor, Idaho, died in Tualatin, Oregon. She was born to James Christensen and Anna Laura Clark Christensen. She grew up and attended Jameston Elementary and graduated from Shelley High School. She met the love of her life, Earl J. Christensen, and they were married December 18, 1928, in Idaho Falls. They were the parents of two daughters. They lived in Taylor and on their ranch in Wolverine during the summer months. They raised sheep and cattle and were a great asset to their community. He preceded her in death, after 58 years of marriage, August 26, 1987. She enjoyed living in the hills, wood carving, crafts, sewing and reading. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, who always had time for family and friends. Surviving are:
Daughter of Twalatin, OR., Daughter of Idaho Falls, ID., 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
