Langley, S.C.
Blease Stallings, 54 of Langley, S.C. died at an Augusta Veterans Administration Hospital Monday morning. His death followed three years of failing health.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church. The Rev. Harvey Wood, assisted by the Rev. Charles Mason, will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the George Funeral Home or at the residence, 113 Augusta Road, Burnettown, S.C.

A native of Jackson, S.C., Mr. Stallings was a son of the late Martin and Lucy Ready Stallings. He was a member of Green Pond Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II, and was an auto mechanic.

Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Lessie Pryor Stallings; three daughters, Mrs. Doris Kirkbride and Mrs. Sandra K. Morrison both of Langley, S.C., and Mrs. Joyce Wingard, Aiken; one son Claude W. Stallings, Gunter Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama; one sister Mrs. John D Gray, Ellenton, S.C., five brothers, Jake Stallings, Augusta; Percy Stallings, Waycross, GA, Elmore Stallings, Leesburg, FL; Jessie Stallings, Bath, S.C.; and Buck Stallings, Jackson, S.C.; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Willie Stallings, Sam Lowe Jr., Paul Stallings, Jr., Everette Stallings, Buck Sauls, and L. O. Gregory.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class of Pine Grove Baptist Church
