Jimmie Garver, 75, of Westfield and the Birchwood Nursing Center in Casey, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday (May 21, 1999) in Westfield. He was a retired farmer.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Markwell and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Rosborough officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Martinsville. Friends may call from 11 a.m. Tuesday until service time on Tuesday.

Mr. Garver was born March 22, 1924, in Clark County, the son of Corry Allen and Sarah Charlotte (Lottie) Deahl. He married Edna M. Buck, who preceded him in death on June 11, 1986.

Survivors include two sisters, Audrey Parker of Charleston and Rogene Waldron of Peoria; and one brother, Bill Garver of Casey. He was also preceded in death by his parents and several sisters, Darlene Johnson, Wilna Bowers, and Ellen Gardner.

Mr. Garver was a veteran of WW II Navy.
