Victor M. Leyendecker, age 73, died Thursday, March 10, 2005. He was born October 10, 1931 in Harper, TX to Gilbert Willie Leyendecker and Mina Kott. He married Anna Belle Smith of San Antonio, TX ON December 30, 1950 at Ford Ord, CA. He retired from the United States Air Force Security Service on April 1, 1971 after 21 years of distinguished service. A 1974 graduate OF St. Mary's University, he enjoyed a second career with City Public Service Board. He was a longtime member of the congregation of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a member of the Association of Perpetual Adoration of St. Pius X Parish since its inception. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna Belle; his children, Vincent Leyendecker and wife, Linn of Santa Fe, NM, Karl Leyendecker of Pflugerville, TX, Cheryl Osburn of Irving, TX, Robert Leyendecker of Crestview, FL, Derek Leyendecker and wife, Carol of Albuquerque, NM, Alan Leyendecker and his wife, Linda of Cibolo, TX, Steven Leyendecker and wife, Denise of Kerrville, TX, and David Leyendecker of San Antonio, TX; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; his sisters, Nora Kennedy of Cisco, TX , Alice Van Der Heiden of Hales Corner, WI, Margaret Clew of San Antonio, TX and Joyce Dull of California; his brothers, Gilbert Leyendecker of Deptford, NJ and John Leyendecker of Harper, TX.
