CALDWELL — Services for Hazel I. Miller, 88, of 2814 S. Indiana Ave., Caldwell, formerly of Nampa, who died Thursday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Nampa First Christian Church by Dr. James O. York Sr. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
She was born Aug. 31, 1892, in Geneva, Neb., where she was reared and educated. She married Wesley C. Miller on March 10, 1912, in Geneva, where they farmed. They moved to Nampa in 1938. Her husband died March 21, 1960. She was a lifetime member of Nampa First Christian Church.
Survivors include five sons, Clarence D. of Caldwell, Guy L. of Nampa, Harold R. of Middleton, Lester E. of Ontario and Howard W. of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Owen (Darlene) Frost of Meridian; a brother, Walter Christiancy of Nampa; two sisters, Ruby Nichols of Fairmont, Neb., and Dorothy Nichols of Geneva; 22 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a granddaughter, three brothers and a sister.
