Lois Carr Bean, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Norton Bean was born at Bedford, Iowa on February 19, 1876 and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Abbie Orth in Fairbury, Nebraska on Feb. 1, 1944 at the age of 67 years, 11 months and 12 days.
At the age of 11 years she moved with her parents to Burlington, Colorado.
She was united in marriage to Wilson Edgar Cooperrider on August 17, 1892 at Burlington, Colorado. To this union two sons and seven daughters were born, one son passing away in infancy. Her husband also preceded her in death on August 22, 1934.
She is survived by one son , John Raymond, of Hubbell; seven daughters, Mrs. Wilma Maher of Hebron; Mrs. Cora Shoup, Miss Mae Cooperrider, Mrs. Abbie Orth and Hazel Smith, all of Fairbury, Nebr., Mrs. Nellie Wiedel of Omaha, and Mrs. Mabel Arntt of Endicott; also 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Hill Mortuary on Thursday afternoon.

The remains were laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery.
