PAUL DANIEL METCALF

DEMING, NEW MEXICO -- Paul Daniel Metcalf, 65, died Friday, October 17, 2008, after a long fight with cancer.

He is one of twelve children of the late Lark and Nina Metcalf formerly of Candler, North Carolina.

Surviving are his wife, Karen, stepdaughter, Angela, and stepson, Jeremy, all of New Mexico; son, Paul Daniel of Fairview; daughter, Crystal of Wisconsin; sisters, Bonnie Reese of Arden, Ruby Arrington, Robbie Banks and Carolyn Meese, all of Candler; brothers, Rev. Ben Metcalf of Lancaster, South Carolina, Charles Metcalf of Rockford, Illinois, Robert Metcalf of Waynesville and Edward Metcalf of Candler.

A memorial service will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he will be laid to rest.
