Cate - E. J. Cate, 51, died the 26th. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the 1st Baptist
Church. The body lay in state from 1:30 till 2:30. Dr. Baldridge was the officiating minister. Interment
was in Grandview Cemetery. Surviving are his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Gardner and Miss Grace Cate, 2 sons, William and E. J. Jr., His mother Mrs. T. L. Cate, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
