On January 6, 1964, Jack was united in marriage to Patricia (Shifflett) Holloway, who survives. In addition to his wife Pat, Jack is survived by a daughter, Darla Sue Moomaw and husband, Steve, of Woodstock; a son, Jack Holloway Jr. of Port Republic; two grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Moomaw and Jack "Brody" Alexander Holloway. Jack is also survived by two brothers, Carson Holloway and wife, Kelly, of Grottoes, and Gary Howard Holloway of Staunton; a sister, Linda Kelley and husband, John, of Grottoes; and numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service will be held at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church in Port Republic, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, with the Reverend Stuart Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Service in Grottoes. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grottoes Fire Department, PO Box 67, Grottoes, VA 24441.
