Surviving relatives include his wife, Helen, of Chula Vista, Calif.; son, John; daughters, Karen Denis and Marguerite Bell; sisters, Mae Andersen, Martha Sykes And (sic) Lily F. Haase, all of Nebraksa, and Clara Krogh of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
