JOHNSTON CITY -- Eulala Strunk, 92, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Murman and Wilson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eddie Null officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Strunk was a homemaker.
She was a member of Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church.
She was born March 9, 1908, in Whiteash to Laura E. (Ditterline) and George S. Castleman.
She married Mitchell Strunk on Dec. 4, 1926, in Marion. He died Nov. 9, 1969.
Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Benson of Carbondale; three grandchildren, Linda English of Springfield, Jim Benson and wife, Brenda, of Murray, Ky., and Galen Benson of St. Charles, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Shannon and Sean Cormier and Brandon English; great-great-grandchildren, Zane and Zackary Cormier; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Her parents, one sister, Fleeta James, and three brothers, Lloyd, Clyde and Cecil Castleman, also preceded her in death.
