MRS. ALFRED BRUNMEIER, 68, of R. 1, Newton, died this morning at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Green Bay, where she had been a patient for five days.
A life-long resident of Manitowoc County, she was born Leona Schuler on Feb, 6, 1904, a daughter of Godfried and Agnes Schramm Schuler.

She attended St. Gregory School at St. Nazianz, was a graduate of the Manitowoc Business College, and on Sept, 9, 1924, she was married to Alfred Brunmeier at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.
Mrs. Brunmeier was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis, the Christian Mothers Altar Society and the Pine River Homemakers Club.

Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. John A. Wagner of Osman, Mrs. Thomas Rappel of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ned Broecker of Two Rivers; one son, James of R. 1, Newton; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Bachhaus of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Petronella Schneider of Manitowoc and Mrs. Stephen Zych of R. 3, Manitowoc; three brothers, Hubert of R. 1, Kiel, Arnold and Edmund of R. 1, Valders, and seven grandchildren. One daughter and one sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, Osman, the Rev. Donald Schneider, celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
