Peggy R. Barnes, 96, of Muncie, passed away Monday at Liberty Village Nursing Home. Peggy was born to Hayes W. and Anna C. Walker Barnes in Muncie. She spent her entire life in Muncie and attended Muncie schools, graduating from Central High School.
Peggy was employed at Chevrolet for several years and later at Fashion West.
Peggy is survived by her many friends and her care givers, Ken and Jessie Sieber.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, June Barnes Cheesman (husband-Ralph).
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parson Mortuary with Rev. Don Shanks officiating. Burial will follow later at Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Friends may call from 12 noon until time of services Wednesday at the mortuary.
