Paul Ortiz "Macho" Castillo, 77, of Waco, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 1, with a Rosary being recited at 7 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.

Paul was born in Thornton, Texas, to the late Cipriano and Matilde O. Castillo. He was raised in Marlin, Texas. Paul enjoyed watching Texas Rangers Baseball, Dallas Cowboys Football, and watching old Westerns.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Castillo Jr.; sisters, Rosalia Longoria, Gabriela Pecina, and Frances Ramos; and brothers, Bartholow and Lazaro Castillo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lidia Castillo; daughters, Cynthia Rivard and husband, Donald, Joann Arias and husband, Rudy, Yolanda Lacey and husband, Robert, and Angelita Castillo; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
