Linda Lee Gates Easterbrook, 66, of Kent, WA, formerly of this area, died Thursday, March 30, 2000, in her residence. She was born Jan. 27 1934, in Battle Ground, and had resided in Washington since moving from Lafayette in 1987. In 1952, she graduated from Jefferson High School. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Easterbrook was a former member of the Sweet Adelines in Lafayette. She enjoyed writing, poetry, dancing and singing. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are three sons, Eric Easterbrook (wife Cathy) of Kent, WA, David Easterbrook (wife Holly) of Streamwood, IL, and Scott Easterbrook of Lafayette; a daughter, Lynne (Mrs. Joe) Ashby of Bradenton, FL; her twin sister, Lula Belle Wortman of Lafayette; and seven grandchildren, Adam, Ethan, Amber, A.J., Rachel, Jeremiah, and Sarah. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin on Nov. 25, 1988. Services April 4 at Hippensteel Chapel with entombment at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
