Daughter of William Nathan and Jane (Morrison) Hodge of Kentucky. She married Charles Hampton Nov. 23, 1820 in Butler county, Kentucky. They were the parents of eleven children: Sarah Jane, Susannah, Nathan Hodge, Robert M., Benjamin Wade, Thomas C., Mary M., Martha M., Eleanor A., Margaret Frances and Mahala Rebecca Hampton.
Family genealogies give her burial place as Mt. Carmel cemetery, Pilot Grove, Grayson county. Apparently, her tombstone has been lost or destroyed.
