Vincent was born in Los Angeles, California to the architect Joseph Jacobberger and Anne Mary Lillis. He attended Columbia Prep School in Portland before entering the University of Oregon. He was on the football and baseball teams at the university.
Vincent was married to Freda E. Heinricher, and they had two children. He was employed by Title and Trust Co. Portland from 1950.

Survived by wife, Freda, daughter Mary Ann and son Joseph, as well as three brothers, Francis (a Portland architect), Hubert, and Bertrand, and one sister, Margaret Liebentritt.
Mass was said at All Saints Catholic Church on October 16 with burial at Mt. Calvary.
