Prayer services are scheduled 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Stockton. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Stockton with the Rev. Georg Thirumangalam officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery in Fort Stockton. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home of Fort Stockton.
He was born in Villa Guerrero Jalisco, Mexico.
SURVIVORS Sons, Raul Acosta, Tony Acosta and Robert Acosta, all of Fort Stockton and Fidel Acosta of Floresville; daughters, Lupe Rey of Fort Stockton, Martha Garica, Tina Lopez and Yolanda Mejia, all of Odessa; brothers, Angel Acosta of Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico and Fausto Acosta of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Juana Acosta of Cid. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
