Phebe Adcock Halford, 60, wife of Robert Halford, died Saturday July 9, after a long illness. She was taken sick last November while visiting California where they had spent the last eight winters.
She was born in Bountiful, Aug. 21, 1877, daughter of Charles and Hannah Johnson Adcock. She was married to Mr. Halford, March 10, 1877 [sic—1897].
Mrs. Halford has spent much time in genealogical and temple work, both in the Salt Lake and St. George temples and has been an active worker in the Relief society for many years.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Halford, Bountiful and a sister Mrs. Margaret Halford, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday of last week in the Bountiful Second ward chapel and interment took place in the Bountiful cemetery.
