She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth and was a member of its Willing Workers Organization. On August 24, 1985, she married Raymond Marotz and they lived in Clintonville until they moved to Sheboygan in 2005. Ray preceded her in death in October 19, 2007.
While in Clintonville she was a member of the United Methodist Church. Through the years Ruth's hobbies and interests included bowling and dancing, playing cards, was an avid Packers Fan and followed the Olympic experience for many decades. Ruth enjoyed the time she spent following the exploits of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons: Roger (Ruby) Koeller, Milwaukee; Lester Koeller, Sheboygan; a daughter, Karen (James) Lanser, Plymouth eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, seven step children, 17 step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by a grandson Kevin Koeller, a great-grandson Austin Suscha, a sister Anita Hameister and two brothers: Hugo and Raymond Hameister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 12 Noon at the Wittkopp-Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Roberta Thomson, pastor of Clintonville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Bethal Cemetery near Ada. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. A memorial fund will be established in Ruth's name.
