Eddie L. Bolin, 77, of Crossett died Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Born April 7, 1925, in Milo to Robert and Annie Meeks Bolin, he was a retired supervisor for Georgia-Pacific's Extrusion Plant and a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God where he served as president of the board of trustees. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting and singing gospel music. He was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Heather and Suzanne Bolin.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Bolin of Crossett; three sons, Eddie Royce Bolin and wife Linda of El Dorado, Billy W. Bolin and wife Sally and Sammy G. Bolin and wife Vickie of Crossett; two daughters, Sandra L. Rice and husband Gordon Earl and Donna R. Riley and husband Jesse; one brother, W. M. "Doc" Bolin, all of Crossett; 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 26, in the Cloverdale Assembly of God with Bro. Justin Uselton and W. M. "Doc" Bolin officiating. Pallbearers were Ricky E. Rice, Stephen "Tod" Rice, Mark, Brad and Eric Bolin and Brett and Blake Riley.

Honorary pallbearers were Johnny M. Sawyer, Joey Rice, Sonny Jackson, Kenneth Knight, Charles Berryman, James Hamilton, Ed Crouch, Sam Burgess, Johnny Hartley and Bob Pill, Jr. Burial followed services at the Crossroads Cemetery with arrangements by Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
