Pearl R. Andrews Rites Mt. Muncie
Mrs. Pearl Ruth Andrews, 71, died Sunday at St. Joseph, Mo. She had been a resident of a St. Joseph nursing home for one month. Mrs. Andrews lived in Leavenworth a number of years ago, leaving her in the early 1940's. She was born in Leavenworth July 16, 1891, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hanks.
Surviving are a son, M. Sgt. Millard E. Barnwell, 2310 S. 4th, and two grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held at Mt. Muncie Cemetery, Leavenworth, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. LeeRoy Klemm will officiate. The body will be at the Clark Funeral Home, St. Joseph, until 12 noon Tuesday.
