Roberto Jaramillo, age 80, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, at the Guadalupe County Hospital. Roberto was born on November 3, 1930 in Anton Chico, NM to the home Margarito and Rosario (Gonzales) Jaramillo. He married Bersabe Romero In Las Vegas, NM in 1958.

He enjoyed farming and horse back riding. Roberto worked road construction for many years and was a rancher. He was a parishioner at San Jose Catholic Church in Anton Chico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, his brother; Antonio Jaramillo, his sisters; Olympia Jasper and Perfie Padilla.

Survivors include his wife Bersabe of Santa Rosa, his children; Rose Mary Jaramillo and Steve Vigil of Santa Rosa, Anna Cordova and husband James "Bozo" of Santa Rosa, Jerry Jaramillo and Deborah Sandoval of Anton Chico, Robert Jaramillo, Jr. and wife Barbara of Anton Chico, Margie Gallegos and husband Dennis of Santa Rosa, Juan Jaramillo and Mona of Santa Rosa, Martin Jaramillo and Mellissa Pacheco of Santa Rosa. Also surviving are his brother; Ufrendo Jaramillo and wife Emma of Anton Chico, his sisters; Magdalena Jaramillo of Anton Chico, Annie Graston of Albuquerque, Maggie Aragon and husband Antonio of Albuquerque, Cecilia Nelson of Anton Chico, his brother's in law; Percy Romero of Anton Chico, Pacifico Romero of Anton Chico and Adolfo Romero and wife Terry of La Loma, his sister in law; Mary Castillo of Portales, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rosary services will be held on Saturday, June 4, at 10:00 AM from San Jose Church in Anton Chico. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 with Father Antonio Mondragon officiating. Cremation will follow the services.

All services for Mr.Jaramillo have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
