GARDINER: Harold F. DuBois, 88, a lifelong resident, died Aug. 28, at his home in Gardiner. Mr. DuBois was a dairy farmer at the DuBois Farm in New Paltz. He was a life member of the New Paltz Fire Department. He was also a member of the New Paltz Rod and Gun Club, the Republican Club, the Reformed church of New Paltz and was active with the New Paltz Grange. Born May 30, 1906, in Gardiner, he was the son of Fred and Anna Buchanan DuBois. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Kortright DuBois. Surviving are a son, Robert of New Paltz; a daughter, Jeanette Franklin of Claremont, N.C.; two brothers, Fred of Wallkill and Gerald of New Paltz; a sister, Anna Irwin of Greene; and 19 grandchildren.
