Mrs. Ford, a retired Home Health Care Provider, passed away Saturday, February 19 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a long-time member of First Church of God in Bastrop, where she led Children's Church and taught Sunday School. Mrs. Ford was a baker of wedding and birthday cakes for many years as well as an Avon Representative. She moved to Crossett in 1988 where she was a member of First Church of God there and held many health care positions in Crossett.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughters, Linda Ann O'Connor and husband Bob of Arnold, Mo., Jerri Gwen Carter and husband Jimmy of Crossett, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Sybil Ford LaComb (wife of the late Linwood Ford) and husband Barry; son, Loyd Gary Ford and wife Mary of Temple, Texas; brother, Houston Hart of Hamburg, Ark.; grandchildren, Michael Ford, Craig Ford, Christopher Ford, Loyd Ford Jr., Zackery Bracey, Robert O'Connor Jr., John O'Connor, Brian O'Connor, Tami Eriksson and Jim S. Carter; great-grandchildren, Steven Ford, Ryan Ford, Jordan Ford, John Ford, Ian Ford, Matthew Ford, Robyn Ford, Ronnie Bracey, Brittany O'Connor, Paige O'Connor, Chip O'Connor, Tori O'Connor, Logan O'Connor, Bradyn Sled, Emory Carter, Avery Carter, Colby Carter and Kylie Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Vernon Ford; son, Cecil Linwood Ford; great-granddaughter, Amanda O'Connor; parents, Edwin and Maggie Doss Hart; sister, Bertice Townsend and brothers, Ellis, Ervin and Buck Hart.
Pallbearers will be Jim Carter, Loyd Ford, Craig Ford, Chris Ford, Matt Eriksson, Frank Rawls, Robert Townsend and Jared Townsend.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Ford, Dale Hart, Gene Hart, Ryan Ford, Steven Ford and John Ervin Hart.
