Burial will follow at Jones Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Cox was born March 22, 1933, in Port Gibson, the daughter of William and Eddie Schuller. She was a dedicated Seventh Day Adventist.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Cox; one daughter, Annie Lee Curtis; one granddaughter, Shellie Polk; five sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include one loving devoted daughter, Helen Jones; seven grandchildren, Billy Cox and wife, assandra, Stephanie Broadus and husband, Adrian, Steven Polk, Jamisha Jones, Victor Curtis and wife, Reneé, Derrick Curtis and Shwanda Curtis; one sister, Myrtis Frazier; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
