Mrs. Alice R. Burguson
92 of Rock Hill, died Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 18, 1999 at the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour with Rev. Dr. Charles Foss officiating.

Born in Rocky Mount, NC, Mrs. Burguson was the daughter of George A. and Mary Elizabeth Grayson Rumph. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Floyd Burguson and retired as executive secretary to the President of Air Transport Assn., Washington DC.

Mrs. Burguson was a member of The Episcopal Church of our Saviour. She received the Paul Harris Award from Rotary International and belonged to the Little Garden Club of Rock Hill, the daughters of the Nile and Eastern Star.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Sarah B. Strait and Barbara B. Griffith of Rock Hill; 2 sons, George A. Rumph of St. Petersburg, FL; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 144 Caldwell St., Rock Hill, SC 29730. Bass Funeral Home is in charge.
