Margaret Ruth Baxter, 62, of Arizona City, Ariz., died Jan. 27, 1996, at San Diego, Calif. She was born Aug. 14, 1933, at Kingston, the daughter of Jim and Dorpha Armer Hawthorne. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ray Hawthorne.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Baxter of the home; one daughter, Brenda Jo Ocheltree of San Diego, Calif.; four brothers, Johnny Hawthorne of Thornburg, Va., Bill Hawthorne of Marshal, Tex., Harold Hawthorne of Ore City, Tex., Bob Hawthorne of Jacksonville, Ark.; and one grandson, Cody Ocheltree of San Diego, Calif.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 19, at the Kingston Community Church with the Rev Roy Cain officiating.
