A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Archie B. and Quessie Genoble Dickson, a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing, and a member of the Startex Church of God.
Surviving are a daughter, Peggy Wright of Startex; a sister, Nannie Mae Powers of Wellford; four grandchildren, Darel (Jacqueline) and Tony Bentley, Amanda Griffin, and Eric Wright; three great-grandchildren, Austin and Ethan Bentley and Sierra Griffin.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Wilber, Albert, and Herbert Dickson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Startex Church of God, conducted by Pastor Ronald Smalley. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Mortuary in Greer, SC.
The family is at the home of a grandson, Tony Bentley, 101 Chase Court, Moore, SC 29369.
