Sharon Rose Barnes, 63, of Oreana died Sunday February 17, 2013 in her residence.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon Thursday Feb. 21, 2013 at 1st Freewill Baptist
Church (2709 N. 27th Decatur, IL. 62526) with Pastor Scott Bell officiating.
Visitation will be 2 hours before the service at the church. Burial will be in Brown
Cemetery off Mount Auburn Road near Boody, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may
be made to her family. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care is in charge of the
arrangements.
Sharon was born to the late Harry and RoseMary Jackson, in October of 1949 in
Tuscola, IL. She married Ralph Kent Barnes in 1966 and they resided in Oreana, IL.
Sharon loved her family and friends very much.
Surviving are her mother, RoseMary Jackson, husband Ralph K. Barnes, three
children; Michael K. (Annette) Barnes of Mackinaw, IL., Angela M. Bevins of
NewBurgh, IN., Tyler K. (Haylee) Barnes of Tell City, IN., two grandchildren;
Brittany Bevins and Amanda Lewis, four great grandchildren; McKenzie, AJ, Connor
and Blaize.
She was preceded in death by her father Harry Jackson.
