Dwain G. Semmel, 65,formerly of Windsor Twp., died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville.
He was the husband of Sharyn J. (Mattern) Semmel, died December 24, 1992.
Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Raymond and Loretta (Unger) Semmel.
He was a graduate of Pottsville High School. Dwain was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He worked as a tow motor operator for Beverage Packing, Muhlenberg Twp.
Dwain attended Salem Evangelical Congregational Church, Windsor Twp. He was a member of the Berks Pigeon Association and enjoyed racing pigeons.
Dwain is survived by two sons,three grandsons,and one sister.
Burial will be private in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Hegins.
