Daniel J. Gersbacher, 63, of Westvale died Friday at home.
Born in Syracuse, he was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He graduated from St. Anthony's School and was an Army veteran. He retired in 1987 after 33 years as an installer for AT&T. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors: His wife of 35 years, the former Carole Gildea; two daughters, Mary Jo Beamish of Eastwood and Susan Kanavy of Westvale; two sons, Stephen and David, both of Syracuse; a sister, Mary Frances Gersbacher of Eastwood; two brothers, Lawrence of Syracuse and John of Liverpool; four grandchildren.
Services: 9:15 a.m. Monday at Buranich Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Onondaga Hill
