Aaron H. Anderson was the first child and son of Isaac Anderson and his wife, Amy Jane Hoel. He married Sarah Rosanna Green on November 1, 1866 in Iroquois Co., Illinois. Aaron served during the Civil War. He was in Co. A. 76 Inf Illinois for three years. Aaron and Sarah had four children; three who died at an early age. He was a farmer. He served as a tax collector and county assessor, also. Aaron's death was due to consumption.
