LEXINGTON-Jason O Secrist, 78, died yesterday morning in the Morrow County Hospital at Mt Gilead after a brief illness.
He was born September 10th, 1876 in Iowa and spent most of his life farming in Monroe township, Richland County. After retiring he moved to Mt Gilead.
Surviving are his wife, Muzetta: five sons, George, Richard, and Raymond all of Mansfield; Don, of Johnsville: Clyde, of Springfield, Ore.; One brother, David Secrist, of Bellville; one step son, Jim Lewis, of North Woodbury: a step daughter, Mrs Suzie Snavely, of Mt Gilead; 26 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Servoces will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home in Lexington with Rev. Keen, Mt Gilead Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Shauck Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home starting this evening.
