Mrs Secrist Stricken at 95
Ellucinda Secrist, 95, widow of James H Secrist, and one of Mansfield's oldest residents, died Thursday afternoon at the Hammond Rest Home following a week's illness.
Mrs Secrist, a life-long resident of Richland County, was born in Worthington Township. She was a member of First Evangelical United Bretheren Church of Mansfield.
She is survived by two sons, David A Secrist, R D 2, Bellville, and Jason O Secrist of Mt Gilead; a daughter, Mrs Verda Pollock of Mansfield; a brother Daniel Snavely of Butler, 18 grandchildren, and 52 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Wappner Funeral home where serves will be held at 3 P M Saturday with Rev. Guy Hartman, officiating. Burial will be at Little Washington.
