WAVERLY-- Harrison M. Barnhart, 88, of Waverly died Sunday at Tioga General Hospital after an illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lowery Funeral Home, 225 S. Main St., Athens. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The stepfather of Mrs. Evelyn Lotitio of Ithaca, he had lived most of his life in the Waverly-Athens area. He was a former employee of the Eclipse Co. of Elmira. For 40 years he was caretaker at Tioga Point Cemetery.
In addition to his step-daughter, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leona Schweiger and Mrs. Susie Richards, both of Waverly; three sons, Charles of Brooktondale, and Fred and Ernest of Waverly, 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
