Henry Seymour, Jr.

Henry Seymour, Jr., 74, of Buffalo, died Tuesday, May 13, 1997, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was retired from Civil Service at Fort Knox and was a retired barber, a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Rose Seymour; a sister, Mary Miller; and a brother, Bill Seymour. Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Patterson of Hodgenville and Lisa Robin Vance of Statesboro, Ga.; a son, John K. Seymour of Hodgenville; five sisters, Anna Doyle of Cave City, Juanita Lawson of Hodgenville, Stella Kessler and Jean Peterson of Louisville and Virginia Murphy of Brandenburg; two brothers, Claude Seymour of Louisville and John Seymour of Elilzabethtown; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral is 4 p.m. today at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with the Rev. Gordon McDowell and the Rev. Roger Pepper officiating. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
