RODGERS Georgia Edwards, 76, died Thu, March 26, 2010 at UK Hospital. Born in Campbellsville, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Christine Edwards. She was a real estate agent and she was a lover of the arts and enjoyed traveling throughout Europe.
Survivors are two sons, Byron (Gigi) Rodgers, Carrollton, KY, and George T. (Ann) Rodgers, Panama City Beach, FL; a daughter, Dee (Bud) Beegle, Lexington; eight grandchildren, Jesse, Amy, Haley, Matthew, Taylor, Devin, Cody and Madison; and one great-grandchild, Christian.
She was preceded in death by three siblings, Mildred Neblett, Jim Edwards and Katherine Shuffett.
Memorial services will be 2pm Sun, March 28, at Immanuel Baptist Church in the chapel. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association, PO Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216.
