Born Nov. 17, 1925, in Mexico, he was a lifetime resident of the Coachella Valley. He is survived by his wife, Rose Munoz of Indio; three daughters, Linda Benavides, Becky Franco and Delia Munoz, all of Indio; one son, Lorenzo Munoz Jr. of Indio; two sons-in-law, Raymond Benavides and Paul Franco, both of Indio; four grandchildren; one brother, Jose Munoz of Sacramento; and three sisters, Adela Chavez of Indio, Blanche M. Jacobs of Palm Desert and Socorro Nava of Palm Springs. The Mass will begin at 8:30 a m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Indio, with interment in Coachella Valley Cemetery. A rosary is scheduled for 8 tonight at the Fitz Henry Funeral Home Chapel, Indio. Visitation is also planned for tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home.
