Peter Anhalt, 83, 117 Western Avenue. Plymouth, passed away Wednesday noon at the Plymouth Hospital following a brief illness. He was born Nov. 30, 1870 in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Anhalt. On Nov. 9, 1897 he was married to Mary Lauffer in Plymouth. She preceded him in death. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church. He was a 50 year member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Survivors include four sons, Oscar of Rock Island, Ill., Raymond of Sheboygan, Roland of Plymouth, and Norman of Glenbeulah; six daughters, Mrs. Edward ( Armella) Heimann of Chilton, Miss Margaretha of Sheboygan, Mrs. Elmer (Marie) Basler of New Holstein, Mrs. Wilford (Dorothy) Basler of Sheboygan, Mrs. Joseph (Isabelle) Graff and Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Zimmerman, both of Plymouth; 34 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three brothers, John of Chilton, Albert of Kiel, and Clement of Sheboygan; and one sister, Mrs. Helen Hensen of Fond du Lac.
