Anhalt Funeral Will Be Held This Morning
Funeral services for Albert Anhalt, 70, will be held from SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church this morning, Thursday, at 9:30 o'clock. The Rev. F.X. Kheil will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Mr. Anhalt died Monday at St. Nicholas Hospital.
He was born September 24, 1884 in Eaton, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Anhalt. October 15, 1907 he married Miss Catherine Nicolay of New Holstein. They located on a farm near New Holstein. In 1942 they moved to Kiel. His wife died in 1947. In 1950 he married Mrs. Verna Bechle of Kiel. He was a member of the Holy Name society.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Gilbert of New Holstein, and Lando of Appleton; two brothers, John of Chilton and Clemens of Kiel. Also a sister, Mrs. Helen Hensen, Fond du Lac, and 16 grandchildren.
