DIGHTON - Edna Spangler Egbert, 86, died
Sunday at Lane County Hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1889 at North East, Pa.,
he was married to Dwight G. Egbert,
Sept. 14, 1916. He died in 1952.
She lived here since 1923.
She was a member of Dighton Christian
Church, OES, Rebekah Lodge, PEO, American
Legion Auxiliary. Twentieth Century Club,
Willing Workers Club and received the
Deaconess Emeritus award of the church
in 1976.
Survivors are sons: Galen, Santa Cruz,
Calif.; Gilbert, Dighton; five grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the
church; Rev. Joe Tempfer. Burial will be
in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Niles-Zenor
Funeral Home; Dighton in charge of arragements.
