He was born on June 13, 1921, in Cuero, Texas to Maudie Bishop Boone and Albert L. Boone and had been a resident of Winnie since 1975.
Daniel was a World War II Army veteran, and worked as a tool pusher in the petroleum industry before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and traveling in their RV.
Daniel is survived by his son, Albert Boone; daughters, Janet Foote; Vickie Hoffpauir; and Pam Anding; brothers, Charles Boone and Donald Boone; sister, Dale Areola; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; their family pet, Angela Boone; and numerous family members and friends.
His loving wife of sixty-nine years, Christine, died on the same day as her husband in Bronson.
His funeral service will be 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Broussard's. A graveside service for Mr. Boone will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Woodlawn Garden of Memories, Inc., 1101 Antoine Drive, Katy Freeway, Houston.
