As we go to press we learn of the death of Wm. Dejean, one of St. Landry's most prominent citizens, which occurred at his home, in Pliaquemine Point, at 1:30 o'clock yesterday morning, aged 72 years, 11 months and 27 days. The obituary will appear next week.
