From the Rome (NY) Daily Sentinel dated 10/29/1921:

ANDRESS BRODOCK, 84, DIES -- Passes Away at Home at Brodock's Corners Following Shock Two Weeks Ago -- Andress Brodock, age 84 years, died at 3:30 o'clock on Friday afternoon at his home at Brodock's Corners, a mile above Teelin's pond. He was in bed for five days before his death, after having had a shock a little more than a week previously. His wife, who was Mary Johnson before her marriage, died a year ago last winter.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Frances McCann, who lives on the old homestead; Mrs. Julia Wilcott, Bailey farm near the State School, and Mrs. Leila Williams, the Brush farm, also near the State School. A son, Edward, died four years ago.

There are no sisters. In Madison county lives one brother, A. C. Brodock, and near Delta Lake lives the other, Alonzo Brodock.

Mr. Brodock was born at Fish Creek within a short distance of the house where he died. He was married at The Pine, not far from there. All his life was spent in the vicinity. He belonged to the Methodist Church and was one of the first members of the New London Lodge of Masons. He made many close friends, all of whom will regret to learn of his death. Although he had not been active recently, he retained his attractive qualities to the end.

Funeral services will be held at his late home at Brodock's Corners on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment at Fish Creek Cemetery.
