Coster and that record refers you to John Acosta, Private in Company A, 17th Consolidated Texas Dismounted Cavalry. He enlisted 1 February 1862 at Nacagdosher. He was captured on 11 January 1863 at Fort Hindman, Arkansas Post. He was sent to Camp Douglas near Chicago, Illinois and held as prisoner of war until his death. He died at the Camp Douglas Post Hospital, Ward 3, on 25 February 1863 of Congestion Brain.
