Domingo Hecht, was my grandfather, but I never met him. Domingo was married to Irene Philpe Hecht, in Puerto Rico, where they were both born.
Domingo & Irene Hecht, moved to Brooklyn, New York, 1930s where they had 3 sons Daniel, Martin, & Carlos. Domingo worked for the city of New York and participated in the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Sometime during the early 1960s Domingo and Irene moved to Miami Springs Florida, where they retired and bought a house.
