According to Ellis Island Records, Franz Schneider was 3 years old when he arrived in the port of New York on 19 May 1892 with his parents and siblings from Strassburg, Russia. Franz was not listed with his family on the 1900 US Census records. He may have died before 1900 and he may be buried at Tiraspol Cemetery, Strasburg, Emmons County, North Dakota. (However, I could not find his name on the cemetery list for Tiraspol). Another possibility is Franz died in New York or during the trip from New York to North Dakota.
