Almon was born in Plattsburgh, New York on November 24, 1913, the son of Almon M. and Bessie (Hayes) Ingalls. He married Agatha M. Dogan in Flint on May 5, 1944.
Almon was a Tool Maker at Buick, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Charles A. Durand Masonic Lodge #533, F & AM and had previously attended Flushing Presbyterian Church. Almon was an amateur radio operator.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Agatha of Alma; son, Charles and wife Murriel Ingalls of Chesterfield; grandson, Michael Ingalls; two great-grandsons, Steven and Ryan Ingalls.
Almon was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and a sister.
