Will and Ellen had six boys and one girl. John and Theodore "Dutch" served in World War I. Lloyd, Harold & Dutch worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. Donald "Dick" lived about 45 miles southeast of Emporia at Burlington, Ks. Gertrude moved to California after she married her second husband, Bill Evans. Gaylord Everett "Mike" was injured in the head when a child and lived at home with his parents.

In the early 1940's, Will, Ellen and Mike moved to Shell City, Missouri, near Nevada, to live. They lived there until their deaths.
